Edmund Many Bears - Siksika Blackfoot Nation Baha'i

Edmund Many Bears was born in 1906 and died on March 14, 1968. He declared as a Baha’i in October 1961. He was instrumental in forming the Baha'i Local Spiritual Assembly of the Blackfoot Reserve in 1962. He served on Tribal Council and was a member of the Brave Dog Society.

Jean Many Bears was born in 1910 and died in 1968, several weeks after her husband Edmund died. Along with her husband she was instrument in forming the Spiritual Assembly of the Blackfoot Reserve in 1962.
